Why is most everything remastered?
Do remasters count as a new work ? Could be a way for record companies to extend copyright. Record labels do get a new copyright on a remaster.

@mglik  How did you diagnose the problem and decide to use a Zobel network? I've seen the Deulund-Mundorf Speaker Purifiers for sale.

Reflections must not be suppressed completely OR enhanced over absorption ... Yes, like in a concert hall. Too many audiophiles have over damped rooms.
Sound Better w/Amp Directly Into Wall Then Thru Zero Surge
The power strip with no filters will protect it with no worsening to the sound? Yes, a strip which is wired directly to receptacles and uses a circuit breaker should have no audible effect on sound. Search power strips in the Audiogon archives...

Laps... There are many fine full-range speakers which require toe-in for optimal SQ according to designer’s instructions. Off the top of my head, Audio Note, Devore, Klipsch. Devore also recommends raking the speakers.

Sound Better w/Amp Directly Into Wall Then Thru Zero Surge
They’ll always claim that their power conditioner is non-current limiting. But the ZeroSurge uses filtering which affects sonics on high-current draw components like amps. I have a Brick Wall (same design) and hear the same effect as you when amp ...
Linlai E 6sn7 tubes
Beware...Linlai does not have any authorised dealers on AliExpress. There is a "buyer beware" page on their website.
Cullen Cable
@jjss49 , thanks for posting the backstory, it puts everything into perspective. I knew about Cullen Circuits, but didn't know the rest of the story.

There is no PERFECT REPRODUCTION from a recorded cd or vinyl, there is ALWAYS a  RELATIVE TRANSLATION from the recorded acoustical cues of the original lived event, but interpreted and selected by the trade-off calculus of the recording engineer ...
