Speakers in the 5-6K$ region & their components
What kind of overall sonics are you looking for within your budget? Musical, detailed, warm, neutral, laid-back or a forward presentation?
Speakers in the 5-6K$ region & their components
I think you’re too hung up on the cost of speaker components. The speaker design is what’s important, which would include quality drivers. Dynaudio is in your price range, quality components and sonics. Are you using SS or tube power?

Schiit Multibits vs Chord Mojo
I can understand them not getting into comparisons with other manufacturer's products, but to not comment on their own, makes no sense. Why buy a more expensive Schiit product if they can't even describe the differences? Not trying to get off to...

@erik_squires DG was way behind other record labels in digital technology, so their 1980’s recordings were in a word, terrible. These were their early CD releases which had all the bad digital characteristics such as harshness, glare and their tec...

Is it fair to characterise the Living Stereo set as coming from early stereo recordings, while Deutche Grammophone are much later? @erik_squires RCA Living Stereo are earlier recordings, but from the review I read, the disks are from the remastere...

Charles Munch/Living Stereo and Dorati/Mercury are really outstanding conductors with top-class performances. I have many on single CD's.Although, older recordings, these are how symphonies and concertos should sound; minimal mic's with concert ha...

The CM series is the affordable line of speakers which were initially targeted at home theater users. I've heard a couple of the towers. The 804's are superior, but as you said, they are 20 years old.Are the surrounds in good condition, the crossov...
Schiit Multibits vs Chord Mojo
Thanks, guys. Will keep searching for user reviews. @edincleve,   One thing I can tell you regarding the Chord DAC's is that they use wall-wart power supplies, whereas the Bifrost Multibit has an internal PSU and you can use your own power cord. I...
