I don't want to beat a dead horse but I'm bugged.
The main issue I took from Goldensound's review that I posted above is that Amir tests all AES/EBU outputs at 4v. This this ridiculous because all outputs should be measured at their normal output levels, not attenuated. Amir is a clown and anyo...
The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses
Finally received my six SR Purple Fuses, put one in my Aurender N20 first and it's just amazing straight out of the box. Much more realism and naturalness, it's transformed the detail that I had before into naturalness. Another five to go ..lol

Can I manually invert or convert an I2S connection
@samuelvelma You need a custom cable.
Aurender N20
@ghdprentice Yes, The Aurender 20 and 30 series provide the full package catering to all formats in a very intuitive package with reference SQ. Some may say there are better sounding streamers but at a price point, company support, build quality ...
Aurender N20
@jeffreyw Hi Jeff, The AES/EBU digital XLR connection can only handle, max 192 kHz PCM it cannot play Native DSD. Native DSD will be converted to DOP (DSD over PCM) either by your Aurender N20 or by the DAC. DOP is very good by not quite as good ...
Aurender N20
@jeffreyw Although the Aries Cerat Helene is a fantastic DAC but it doesn't play Native DSD. Therefore USB really has no use, unless you are inputting a source without AES/EBU. AES/EBU will be best, especially with the Aurender N20's  Professiona...
Aurender N20
@jeffreyw A lot of people are mentioning the difference between AES/BNC and USB. If you want to take full advantage of the USB output you need a DAC with an Amanero Board. This will bring the SQ very close to the AES/BNC otherwise the AES/BNC wil...
Question about upgrading my SACD player
@ftran999 Buy an OPPO, one of the models on which you can rip your SACDs to a USB hard drive storage or similar. Then sell the OPPO and get a server/streamer. You will be able to play the SACD files from the OPPO.
Forgotten heavy bands from late 60's to early 70's
@larsman Yes I really like them, they released at least six albums I believe.
Aurender N20
@jeffreyw I have an N20. The main differences are that you have Digital XLR and BNC outputs but the real reason to go for the N20 is that it has a master clock input which takes the N20 to the level of the N30. What I have have found is some reco...

Medicine Head, they released their Dark Side of the Moon album just before Floyd and nearly caused Floyd to change the name.

What should I expect after installing a new power management system?
I've used many power conditioners but have had the best success with Plixir. Plixir doesn't limit current and is balanced. Use for your DAC, Streamer, Pre etc. Plug your power amp straight into the wall.

@larsman Besides Man and Budgie there was also another Welsh band called Sassafras. They toured extensively in the US and Europe but never made the Big Time. Their Riding High album is on Tidal. Man and Budgie also on Tidal. Beckett another forgo...
