Jon Lord Deep Purple
Did not hear this news. Everyone talks about Gillan and Blackmore but Paice, Glover and Lord made this band great. Locked in like no other.

I'm wondering what part of the self-puffery act you find "impressive". Smacks of bull to me.

Ram reissiue
Dear Rar1-That sucks...guess I'll pass on this re-release of an album I positively love. Audible distortion? How does that get past what must be a committee of re-mastering engineers? I mean it's not like a kid in a room doing this w/o any checks ...

Pilsner Urquell gets my vote.

Harbeth Compact 7 or Merlin TSM
I agree with Palkovic. I owned an earlier version of TSM than the "mme" and it was clinical, analytical and "hifi"...all things I hate in a loudspeaker. Get the Harbeth...no contest. You'll never look back.
Davy Jones we will miss you
Well done, responders. All of you have fond memories, as do I. We may be same vintage. Mr. Slipknot...you get +1 for acknowledging HR Puffinstuff too. Nice job. Lonely shades of grey.
spirit of 76....by spirit
Spirit's "Family That Plays etc." is positively brilliant. A great, sadly underrated, band.
Which way to go with my PC Audio setup?
To Steve N.-You say set Mac to 64 bit. How is this done? Thanx.
Rega RP3 or Pro-ject Expression III?
Both kill CD. I've had both brands...both are good.

Naim 250 is the best I've heard (but, in the context of your system, who knows).
