Volti does it again!
Greg wanted me to point out that the link to his website with the new model is not a completed page and it is still under construction (and they do not cost $7,500).
Volti does it again!
I live outside Tampa and was at the show on Sat. I thought the ($11,750) Lucera’s sounded fantasic also. Really, really good and in my top 3 small rooms that I heard on Saturday. Amazing for being in a hotel room with no treatement. I had two hi...
VPI Fatboys versus others in its' tonearm weight class.
Just an update to mine which is that I'm now completely satisfied with this upgrade which was a 10" JWM uni to a 10" Fatboy gimbal.  All the textrure and midrange "grittiness" is there now. I guess phono cable burn in is real?!? Whatever happened...
Volti Audio owners, is the fire still there?
Greg owns Volti.  My wife left the building for a few hours yesterday so I was able to turn it up and still amazed at how good my system sounds. Sure there are a few things here-and-there to work on but those are upstream from the speakers (and p...
Volti Audio owners, is the fire still there?
Sounds good - my guess is you can hear most anything you want.... Yes, I bought the American Speaker Cables (TWL) for my prior speakers, Sapphire M3s so I haven't used any others to compare. I had originally planned on putting them (well, the M3...
Volti Audio owners, is the fire still there?
I've had mine for almost exactly 1 year and they are my end game. PM me if you want to hear them when you are in town. There are a few of us going back to my place on Sat late afternoon after we are at the show.  Mine sit on Townshend Podiums whi...

100% yes to the fire still there. My Rivals bring me many, many SPH (smiles per hour), with a few LOL's thrown in there. I'm running a PrimaLuna Evo 300i with KT-150s and a mix of RadioTechniques and Brimars up front. Phonostage is a Modwright 9....
Your Not-So-Obvious Best Fidelity LPs
My list of Not-So-Obvious: Mad Season: Above - orignal US Columbia pressing -much better than MOV and 2016 (?) reissues. Tool Fear Inoculum - 5 LP - Drums are insane Another vote for the Mofi Garcia/Grisman Framton Comes Alive - Monarch Talki...
Your Not-So-Obvious Best Fidelity LPs
@czarivey , great list. I just ordered Northern Exposure off Discogs for a relatively decent price.  John D is my favorite DJ and has been since I started listening to him in 1999. I have their original Communicate on vinyl and almost every track ...
Have you found your "End-Game" speakers yet? I have. And it feels so good!!!
I'm 54 yo and am sure my Volti Rivals are my end game speakers. When I went to my first hifi show in Tampa 11 mos ago, the only very few speakers I liked as much cost 3x + as much (besides the Rivals Greg was playing of course - which did sound gr...
VPI Fatboys versus others in its' tonearm weight class.
I finally ordered and installed /setup a 10" gimbal FB for my Prime Signature from the JMW 10" 3D Unipivot. I did a quick and easy setup so still have to fine-tune but is about 99% there (I know that 1% can be huge). Inital thoughts are as follow...

Another Volti:  Rivals. May add subs someday but I'm convinced these are it for me.

@jerrybj  , please let us know what you think of your PSM 156 .
Best speakers for classic rock
@carlsbad2 , good point about Cerwins. I had AT-15s in the late 80s and listened mostly to 70s music on them. I then went to more of a "hifi" speaker with a Mirage M460 in 1991 which sounded great and were better hauling around from place to place...
