Similar experience…Pennie’s on the dollar offer when I approached them to buy one of my gear. The delta was $6K between what they offer and I was able to sell on my own. They may be good for snatching a one off deal but at the end of the day, it’s...
Which end is which?
Transparent cables are typically directional. The red marking usually indicates the destination end, meaning it should be plugged into the component receiving the signal. So, in your case, the red end should go into your DAC or whatever device is ...

@fastricky As @jfrmusic pointed out, threaded bolt is fixed. However, you can order combination of long + standard spikes to pivot your speakers (assuming you have carpeted flooring). That’s what I did with my Tannoy’s.

“Chad’s attention to detail, his fanaticisms, are over the top — and his stuff sounds phenomenal”. This pretty much sums up nicely what he does on day to day basis. I own many Acoustic Sounds reissues and every one of them sounds far better than ...

“I preferred the copper” +1, @wsrrsw That’s been my experience as well. I have taken the approach to clean LAN grunge and block noise by adapting to Telegartner Opt Bridge 1000M - Optical Isolator. This gives me best of both worlds and I am extr...

@grannyring  Congratulations on your new home (room) setup. If I can be completely candid…what an incredible setup! I am somewhat envious of those folks who can get away with fewer pieces and still manage to get a great sound; something I have no...

“How much class-A power does the A-48 deliver before drifting into AB” @southofdallas  This is why it is crucial to properly match an amp to your speakers and vice-versa. If your speakers dip well below 8 ohms in certain frequency ranges, the P-46...
Retirement integrated amp for a “fiscal conservative”…..Part 1: I have a plan
“I have the 83.6 dB sensitive non-graphene Joseph Audio Perspective speakers”@ezstreams JA Perspective’s loves watts. Almost every demo I’ve attended at audio shows (last 7 years), his speakers were paired with Jeff Rowland’s amps or Integrated....

@ezstreams  Did you had a chance to visit @gestalt in Nashville. I recommend checking out his room at AXPONA.
