Any recommendations for aftermarket C-7 power cord for Bluesound Node 2i “When one upgrades the wire and it improves the sound at least as much as when one upgrades the components the wire is connected to, and for about the same cost, what more justification does one need?”You’re so full of it...mc. Do you ever go back...
Any recommendations for aftermarket C-7 power cord for Bluesound Node 2i @audioman58,How can one justify a power cord that cost just as much as the component?
Perfect Path Tecnologies ‘The Gate’ @uberwaltz, No apologies needed bud! I understand your point of view on The Gate. IMO, good power correction / conditioning is not inexpensive. Many of us have found SOTA power solutions from the likes of SR, Shunyata, Audience and Nordost. Since ...
Perfect Path Tecnologies ‘The Gate’ @uberwaltz,Take it easy, I certainly did not have any intentions to cause more pain to mrs_ppt. Bless her heart, we know Tim is always going to be ‘there’ with her in spirits. My post was directed towards mindless posts by geoffkait. The man simpl...
Perfect Path Tecnologies ‘The Gate’ “It pleases me to know he’s up there reading this. <3 He would of enjoyed the banter”. mrs_ppt, I beg to differ, Tim is well beyond our world. He couldn’t possibly be bothered anymore with geoffkait’s pointless but nevertheless comedic banters 😉
Any recommendations for aftermarket C-7 power cord for Bluesound Node 2i I have tried Shunyata Venom and Nordost Purple Flare but my favorite is Cullen. Cullen lean towards organic and slightly warm sound which in my opinion is a good choice for any digital component. http://www.cullencable.com/c7-power-cable/
Synergistic Research Orange Fuses I will yield the forum to @oregonpapa, he is our resident expert on SR fuses 😉
Network Switches @nonoise,Thanks for posting a link for the switch and steering back this thread on track 😉@thyname - I am not at all surprised by the overwhelming response to EtherRegen.
Do any of these interest you at all? (If you had the money)(Which I don't) Off that list, none at all; most of them were just ugly! If I have the money, I would buy Alsyvox’s Botticelli or Avantgarde Trio XD in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing the list, I have a whole new appreciation for my existing speakers.
Turntable for a Newbie! Thank you all for suggestions, keep them coming! @noramance, Now that’s what I call a audiophile man cave. Gorgeous system, I bet your system sounds amazing! I do agree with you in regards to your comment “shortcomings of lower-end turntables...”
Network Switches @jason_k2017and ’ for the umpteenth time’....why don’t you pick up a switch and try it on your system? My gosh, even if we say adding a switch made an audible difference, does that guarantees you will hear the same improvements @grannyring and oth...
Network Switches +1, @nonoise. I see that @jnorris2005 still trying to convince us with the same old analogy of signal passing through hundreds of routers, repeaters, data centers...blah blah. It’s the same signal / data sent to each subscriber yet our experiences...
VPI's new "Vanquish" Ultra High-End turntable is a STUNNER! “Hmmm my digital cost ~1/100th that and its pretty darn good”Yeah, I heard some folks swear by Google Chromecast as pretty darn good digital source for digital streaming 😉
VPI's new "Vanquish" Ultra High-End turntable is a STUNNER! “When God invented records, did he ever envision it would cost this much to play them right? Is that why he invented digital?”Trust me, a good digital (streaming) setup is not inexpensive either.
Best Analog for $10K @tzh21y Try to listen Illinois Jacket’s Swing’s The Thing album on Qobuz streaming. The album was originally released in 1957. This recording will most likely shatter all of your preconceived notions about golden age stuff on digital. |
