Butcherblock Acoustics "feet" effecting sound and isolation
If you look at my system in my profile I have my maple isolation platfrom resting on brass isolation feet. Each component on the platform rests on a rubber/cork "Isoblocks" device. It works in my system and I would recommend it.
Are Their any Tube Preamp with Home Theater Bypass?
Thanks everyone for your help. There were a few posts that recommended keeping my 2 channel system and home theater separate and it made sense for my setup. I already have a very nice desktop system and that will be the system I go with tubes. The...
Starting from scratch in a large room
A pair of Paradigm PW600 active speakers have everything you need to get started. They are powered speakers so you don’t need an amp. They have an app so you can stream from many services as soon as you set them up. You can add a CD player or a tu...

@russ69 , thank you for your thoughtful and articulate response, What did you think of the idea of checking customer reviews? I use Mogami cables and we both seem to like them. I personally found that attention to power was a good idea but totally...

Is anyone beside me surprised that someone who is an expert on measurements either doesn't have or won't post his own room with his own measurements in the virtual system area, in a thread on measurements????

@amir_asr If you do pass such a test, repeat with capturing a video of it and we have something wonderful to discuss! If you can’t do that, then measurements, null tests, engineering analysis of what is going on, etc. are great help in getting t...
