Need integrated with LOTS of WATTS Sorry guys, I didn't notice he listed a budget when I put in my suggestions. My bad.
Need integrated with LOTS of WATTS The Wyred For Sound STI-1000 has 570 watts per channel. ModWright has one in development that will have 200 watts.
Sanders Sound preamp vs. Innersound? Isn't Sanders and Innersound the same? Did Sanders buy Innersound or something?
Speaker match for Simaudio W8/P8 oohh, I would try the VSA VR 5 Anniversary. I used to own the Dali Euphonia MS 4s. Great speaker, I did not try it with Sim though so sorry on that. I have owned the W-7 and the W-3. I primarily used the Monitor Audio GS 60s with them.
Boston Acoustics A400's Anyone Remember? Boston Acoustics is underrated IMO. I once heard a Boston Acoustics setup that embarrassed the "higher end" system I had at the time.
advantage of seperates vs integrated Yes, the Tidals are indeed really nice. The pictures don't do them justice.
advantage of seperates vs integrated CDC, were they talking about home theater am/fm turner "receivers" or just simple integrateds. There is a difference. Just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing here. Anyone can give an explanation as to why one should sound better...
Has anyone switched from Dynaudio to Harbeth I disagree with Missioncoonery. I have music I like is is not the best production. If the recording is bad, I don't want to hear how bad it is, I wan't to be able to enjoy it. So if your priorities are to have a system that makes you enjoy your mu...
advantage of seperates vs integrated I don't think you can go wrong with the Sim Integrated. Others to look at are Luxman, and Modded LSA by Underwood Hi. Good luck.
Mid-Fi Integrated Amps? Arte Forma 1-150 Susan. 1500.00. Not mid fi tough, it is better than that.
Herron VTSP-3A So, is everyone else leaving their's on 24/7? I never really shut mine off.
Most musical integrated amp you have heard? Modded Unison Unico SE.
advantage of seperates vs integrated If you can find an integrated you love, it makes everything a lot simpler. No worry about synergy, impedance matching, looks of the gear in the rack together (that can be important, waf) and of corse power cords and interconnects. On the other han...
Bass and Treble Dials I think the Luxman integrateds are high end and high performing units with tone controls. So if some one really wants that and can afford them those would be an option.
How do Dunlavys compared to new stuff? Why wouldn't other audio companies mimic this design? It sounds like a darn good one. |
