Good Speakers for Rock and Roll Under 15K I'm not the expert that is for sure, but I have definitely heard some speakers do it for me on rock that others do not. But that is the great thing about this hobby is we have different flavors for people, even stuff that is imperfect may be some...
Good Speakers for Rock and Roll Under 15K I don't think you need to listen loud to enjoy rock. A clean, dry, hard, loud sound that it seems some are advocating for may sound good initially, but your ears will hate it after some time. Give me the bass, give me the texture, crunch, extend...
Good Speakers for Rock and Roll Under 15K I have never heard ATC, but for some reason I got the impression they were more on the colder analytical side. I thought maybe I read a review or something. Anyway, am I wrong on that assumption?
Aggrivated tinnitus from speakers? yeah, I have tinnitus as well. I bought Wharfedale Lintons and class A amps, smart cabling and limited the volumes, really helped. Then I moved to new house with a lot bigger room. Now, I have McIntosh MA 8950 Integrated and Polk Audio R700s, I...

聖HIJIRI Users thread Hey guys. I thought I would chime in. I already had the Nagomi but my curiosity got the best of me and I broke down and bought the Takumi PC. After ordering, I thought to myself, what the hell am I doing spending this kind of coin on a freakin P...
Any Advice for those Listening to Youtube Reviewers? I like Zero Fidelity, Steve Huff, and Andrew Robinson quite a bit. Probably because of the entertainment/enjoyment factor of their reviews. I will say that I have tried gear they have reviewed and their reviews match what I heard. I'm not embar...
Canare 4s11 how good are they ? I have had my fair share of speaker cables over the years. The most expensive being 2400.00 new, I haven't had any in the super expensive range as far as cables go, so I can't speak to that. But I can say the Canare 4s11 works great in my curren...
Warm and accurate bookshelves that can handle volume I don't know how anyone couldn't enjoy the Lintons. They are just a whole lot of fun.
Warm and accurate bookshelves that can handle volume I found KLH a little hot/harsh on some recordings when I tried them. I went with the Wharfedale Lintons, to me they are warm/smooth, don't cause listening fatigue. But maybe not accurate like what the OP is looking for. Plus, I never listen lou...
Enjoying Wharfedale Linton Heritage Speakers grislybutter, just curious, what amp were you using? I have a pair and I find them very enjoyable.
Pure Class-A Amp under $2000 (USED) I'm a big fan of the SONY TA-A1Es integrated amp, Built like a tank and sounds amazing, can't believe how good it sounds for the price. I thought Sony did a terrible job of marketing this amp, it should be far more well known than what it is.
Polk R700 yes! I think they are amazing, very hard to beat at this price. seem to do very well with all source material. My son has the R600 and that sounds great too
