What type of Audio Gal or Guy are you? Do You Know?
I'm definitely not a "follow the herd" type, either in music or equipment ... or life. Music-wise I'm a metal-head, with side trips in many directions ... acoustic guitar, rock, progressive, ambient, etc. I can go from the heaviest of metal to the...
Why is modern pop music today so terrible?
If you think pop just got bad lately then you didn't grow up with Yummy, Yummy, Yummy (I've got love in my tummy) - 1910 Fruitgum Company
Audiophiles are not alone
You can't fool blind results. Take your biases and other senses out of the equation and you're left with just the sound. Blind tests have saved me a lot of money over the years.

Ever Bought an Audio Product that was Stupid Good for the Money?
Paradigm Signature S1 v2 for $800. The beryllium tweeter is pretty special and the speaker is so small and unobtrusive it totally satisfies my living room requirements. Flattest frequency response I've ever seen in SoundStage reviews.
Has anyone had experiences good or bad with speaker isolation or isolation in general ?
Ethan Winer's tests on speaker isolation products
Recommend a budget floor standing speaker less than $1,000
I think it's a no-brainer. These Revels, if you live locally.I am not in any way affiliated with this ad, but if I lived close these would be mine.
Brightest but shortest artistic bursts in the sky
Trees of Eternity - Hour of the NightingaleOne and done because the unique singer passed away before the album was released. A stunningly beautiful and emotional debut in the doom metal vein and my favorite album of this millennium.
