Hard to sell my Klipsch Heritage Speakers for a possible Harbeth upgrade.
d2girls, that is a fictitious ‘consensus’. Unless you’re some savant that has tallied every opinion from every thread about all those speakers (and I think the outcome would still be different)...I’m guessing you’ve read a few threads since being ...
If you still spin CD's their is a reference level Transport for reasonable money
Tejay, have you 3ver heard the PS Audio PWT Transport? Wondering it would make the list of great Redbook players. Thanks for the endorcment of this one.
Am I hearing things?
I put two 20a dedicated lines in the new house when we moved in last year. Took them a couple weeks to lose the shrillness and settle.
Music Server Recommendation
^ I say go for it! Innuos. There’s years of consensus out there about Roon. And you could go USB or Ethernet to your PS DAC with a bridge II right?
Which DAC as a preamp?
I like a lean precise detailed neutral DAC and then pair it with a seeet sounding tube preamp. YMMV but I seem to get the best of both worlds - accuracy detail but with warmth and musicalityThat pairing makes sense... but also describes the sound ...
Innuos Zenith
So the Zenith MKII is $6k and the next up (the two chassis unit) will be $14k.Seems to me the ‘sold out’ SE  is/will be a hole in the lineup and may be shooting themselfs on the foot by not continuing to offer it.  Seems like a bad business move....

Lucky you, boxer12. You got to see them -and the scene- before the influx. My first show was spring ‘88...then I didn’t stop much, when not in school —and while in school ;) But at this stage in the game, IMO, a ‘late bloomer’ is one that did not ...

Right on, garebear! More of that GAterful Dead  synchronicity :^D It was (and is) an interesting -and spooky sometimes- real  phenomenon back at shows. There’s a chapter or two out there about it somewhere. Enjoy and dont overheat out there! It ve...

Hey Now, fellows Dead freaks! I was just thinking about this thread and here it is. Good ol’ Grateful Dead synchronicity! I used to use the “So Many Roads” box to ‘demo’ the Dead for people. Great introduction to the different eras of Dead music. ...
Graham ls5/9 vs Harbeth M30.1
I heard the Grahams up there in Michigan, too. Heard the 40.2 and the LS5/9... the Grahams did have that boost around the 5 to 6khz region that is mentioned in one of the reviews—and mentioned as a purposeful design aspect. This def made the speak...
Best Rocking Speakers 15K and Under
Your musical tastes are wide, like mine. And with the speakers you are looking at, as well as the gear you have, you owe it to your process to try to hear Daedalus Audio speakerS, like the Ulysses or Argos, or one of Lou’s new 10” bass driver mode...
Contemplating DEVORE SPEAKERS (and others)....LONG audition report of many speakers
As thorough as you are, I’m sure you will but check out your listening volume between Devore and JosephAudio, you may find the JA speakers to like to be turned up more. So might depend on your listening style.
Looking for a warm sweet speaker
Read this thread before bed last night and was going to come back and say the same thing as “steakster” did... Glad you’ve been around (we didn’t know that) but I don’t think he said it in any certain way, maybe just passionately informative.Altho...
Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
Wow, congrats  to Dan Wright! Mark is right about Dan. This is great news for all. As an already happy owner of an E=C 1800, I am thrilled with this news.
