| KT66s in place of KT88 tubes @weebeesdad what jjss49 said is essentially correct though I'd say the blurring and loss of transient speed is overstated. To me EL34s, KT66s and 77s just sound more like tubes, higher powered KT variants might as well be solid state. | |

| How do you find time to enjoy your $$$ speakers and system? I listen a lot my partner and I live in different cities and I don't really watch TV on my own other than some sports. Plus I work partially from home and no kids I probably listen at least 4-6 hours a day more like 8-12 on weekends. | |
| An interesting experience with power cable. One thing to keep in mind digital gear is quite a bit noisier than analog gear. So there's more room for improvement when you connect your pc to your Dac vs your amp. I suspect that's more the reason for the difference than insufficient gauge. | |
