How to connect Tidal and an external USB drive to my Audio System without wifi
Is your modem router in the same room as your stereo? If so you could do something like hardwire a Sonos connect to your router and then hardwire a hard drive or NAS to your router. Then run a digital cable from the Sonos to your Peachtree. If the...
Placement of DAC
It also wouldn't hurt to put some isolation between the DAC and CD player something squishy like a vibrapod perhaps. And definitely coax.

There are some people doing some very nice stuff with matrixing aka adding crowd noises back in to great sounding soundboards.

Also 5/15/70 which is  Road Trips Vol 3  is totally amazing.
Is a KT-77 a plug in for a KT-88?
It's a replacement for the EL34, or at least very close was an easy drop in for my amp.

Dick's Pick 4 and I've only hear about five of the Dave's Picks nothing really has stood out to me.
To Variac or not to Variac?
FWIW I always power my amp, a Deja Vu Audio PP EL34 17 watter, up with a variac and then just run it off the variac when I listen. I use a 20A variac so tons of current for my relatively low power amp and I noticed a nice drop in the noise floor w...

Audiophile pets and their names...
We have two cats but the gf named them, so its Tigger and Trixie. And yes they jump on top of my speakers on occasion, well Tigger does, and Trixie likes to sometimes sleep on top of my power conditioner.

Also if you've never torrented before best to get some help from a friend who knows what he's doing it can be pretty daunting.

Jafant go to archive.org, hundreds of Charlie Miller remasters and to be clear these are all unofficial bootlegs but Charlie has a huge following and is a very good guy.

Either way the shows are out there and honestly I'll take a Charlie Miller master any day of the week over official releases. Listening to his remasters of 8/29-30/69 of Family Dog at the Great Highway and holy crap they sound amazing!

The one component that you wish you had not bought

Guys the reason most of May 77 hasn't been released is exactly because so many of those shows are already out there as great sounding soundboards. Official releases would be redundant. I have awesome copies of both 5/8 and 5/9 if anyone needs them...
