| Is upgrading pre worth it? A huge difference in my opinion the preamp makes a bigger impact on sound quality than an amplifier. And going from a receiver to even a modest well designed tube preamp should really be a quantum leap forward in sound quality. | |

| 300B SET vs.Triode Strapped KT150's??? What are the amps in question? I would say unlikely though in all honesty I have yet to hear the KT-150 tube. I will say however that to my ears tube rectification makes a big difference and sounds far superior to SS rectification. YMMV. | |

| I can't play a recording all the way through Try not just listening to songs even listen to entire albums. That's what I usually do and I feel like it really helps draw me into the music rather than using the system as a jukebox. And congrats on the new system! | |
