| Herron NOS Tubes My preamp uses 6 6DJ8 tubes so splashing out on super pricey NOS is not really something I care to do the Matsushita are a great balance between price and sound quality. | |

| Tube pre-amps: balanced a big deal? Hi why are you paring a tubed preamp with an integrated amp? Also at the price range your looking I would say forget about balanced. Of the three preamps you list I would personally choose the Dehavilland. | |

| Help please Well have you tried systematically swapping channels? First try swapping the speaker cables on your amp to see if the problem follows. If not work your way back up the chain switching interconnects until you isolate the piece of gear. | |
