What is it.........
Cranking tunes in the car is just fun in a way home listening isn't neither is better or worse just different. I always sing in the car I rarely sing along at home. Plus fewer distractions in the car, except for when there are more.
I wouod like a power cord recomendation that's in the budget category
VH Audio Chris Venhaus will build a cable for you and your spec the parts wire connectors etc. He built me a couple cords a little above your price range that I love. And he's a pleasure to deal with.https://www.vhaudio.com/
Streaming For Beginners
I really wish we could have stickies here this question gets asked constantly these days. Admin would it be possible to put a Streaming FAQs sticky or something like it together?
Linear Tracker ...I was wondering
Uber that SOTA ad was what made me think of buying a used table. I also kind if want that table so thanks for the reminder I couldn't remember where I saw that ad. :)
Separates or Integrated? What makes more sense?
I would also vote for separates for many of the reasons mentioned above. And yes you will need an extra set of interconnects but isn't that half the fun?! As a recently recovered cable addict I assure you it is fun! Also if you start out SS and wa...
Linear Tracker ...I was wondering
Your best bet might be to find a used table with a linear tracking arm and salvage the arm off it.
Streaming Qubuz - take it to the next level.
I would say a Dac upgrade would likely be more noticeable and beneficial than a streamer upgrade. You have a nice budget Dac what's your budget for an upgrade?
Only using Spotify connect, am I loco??!!
+1 Uber Qobuz sounds best, Tidal also sounds better. To me lossy streaming is no way to listen to music especially if it's your primary music source.
Tidal HiFi really lossless?
Tidal is lossless but I've never gotten up to 1411 kbps streaming Redbook. It typically sits in the 7-1000 kbps range even on Wifi in my home. Sounds great though.
Replacement for Kimber 8TC cables
Having had 8TCs in my own system in the past i would recommend Auditorium23 a nice upgrade soundwise and a very good value. Around $1k new and they tend to pop up used in the $7-800 range.
... speaker stands other than concrete blocks...
+1 Sound Anchors great stands!
Who Offers a Highly Musical Preamp using a 6SN7 tube and a remote?

Voltage question
Stepdown converters are affordable or perhaps try using a variac. CD players don't consume much power so should be pretty easy to run off a variac.
A Top DAC
Just wondering since you have a very high end MSB Dac already do they offer any sort of upgrade path or trade-in? Might be a good way to go since you already know you like the sound of their Dacs.
