| Tube rolling 6922 tubes looking for transparency A good reasonably priced 6922 that has good balance top to bottom, is quiet, and doesn't get alot of press is the Japense made Matsushita. To my ears, they sound better than the new 6922's being manufactured today. | |

| Has anyone used a pair BAT VK-55 as mono blocs I have a pair of VK 55 monoblocks. I am driving a pair of Soundlab A3's. The 55's have been more than capable. I don't know what speakers you are trying to drive so I would suggest you call BAT and talk to Victor. | |

| Thinking of the BAT VK-55 with 2905's The VK 55 is a very capable amp. When reviewed it spec'ed at 66 watts at clipping. I think it would drive your Quads without any problems. I use the 55 monoblocks to drive A3 Soundlabs without issue. I seldom listen above 90 db. You may be pleasan... | |
