Tweeters are silent on my Wilson audio Sofia 2
Pull tweeter check for continuity with a multimeter.  They may have used a ferrofluid in the tweeter VC and I think this model been out for 15 years or so and could have issues with old ferofluids or just time itself.
16 ohm speakers: any amp sounds better with more resolution. speaker cables less critical.
Dear Raul you posted above {all the tube owners are listening ( no matters what ) something really away from what the recording microphones pick-up during recording sessions} and { Learn from all those honest gentlemans}  = Non-Sequitur ie Sweepin...
I Was Considering Active, Then I Watched This ...
I think audiophiles have been using active tech for a long time many use subwoofers most are powered active types. I have active systems passive systems outboard crossover actives. I do think when it comes to amplification if class d or ab designs...
Horn Speaker Recommendations
The design looks off to me has bell blockage no time alignments.
Are there any tube amps that don't give off any---
Small SET amps are fairly cool running and won't heat a room.
Does anyone do off-axis listening as well as Magicos?
Multicellular horn systems are the best loudspeaker type for off-axis listening nothing else is close not even MBL  Radialstraler
Just spoke to an old client of mine..........Avantgarde owner
I have designed large full horn systems that one could sit as close as arms reach and not have issues. For a decade I built horn bass systems for AG owners I no longer offer due to size so a few AG owners may have felt the same as you I owned Duos...
High Performance Audio - The End?
I want my systems to sound as close to real music in real space as possible. This can be done fairly affordably if one DIY and knows what they are doing for checkbook types I sadly feel they may never get such performance no matter what they spend...
More money toward better speakers or a better DAC?
Buy both put most $ into the speaker and buy a Schitt audio DAC Millercarbon is right a proper loudspeaker can last decades with DACs you should almost have a subscription service have one dropped off monthly. Most DACs also have little long term ...
seeking ‘HORN’ ideas apart from Klipshc Lascalla
DIY is not as daunting as it sounds most large commercial horns will need some set anyway. A dual 15" bass- large formate compression midrange with a matching tweeter. Best if dual 15" are horn-loaded but ported is OK. Simple network or DSP  if yo...
seeking ‘HORN’ ideas apart from Klipshc Lascalla
DIY is the best way or find someone to build you a great horn system, off the shelf horn options are pretty pathetic things compared to whats going on in DIY
“BLOCK” Function?
The asshats do make the forums less useful
Klipsch Service, is like calling the Federal Government.....What a joke
google Klipsch 3 channel stereo and it comes up in images
A speaker audio journey over: Classic Audio Loudspeakers T1.5 Reference = End game
Its only end game if you make it so or pass away while owning.
Should people who can't solder, build or test their speakers be considered audiophiles?
No one should be an audiophile -audiophiles are mostly about bad music brand names and amounts spent not performance.
