| Why monoblocks? Why run seperate amps? Most Integrated amps can handle most speakers, especially those that are rated 88 db and above in sensitivity. If a Integrated amp can do the job, why spend money on a seperate amplifier? I mean, what are the benefits? | |

| Noise floor hiss You could try re-routing or changing interconnects and speaker cables, as you could be picking up noise due to shielding (or lack there of) issues. Outside of that you probably will need to get a preamp/amp with a lower noise floor. Cheers,John | |
