i have heard neither in my own home system, but from what i know about both the speaker and the amp, it should be a very very nice combination so long as you like how the cornwall 4 presents the music

Speaker shootout question -- do you position the same or differently, depending?
as others have said, it depends greatly on radiation pattern of speaker and whether boundary reinforcement of bass is desirable for proper tonal balance that said, degrees of freedom are finite... my seating position doesn’t vary much at all and ...

@chorus just a suggestion, for an affordable, yet true ’reference’ level amp, i think you would do well with a smaller hegel integrated (use the amp section, not necessarily the dac section, though if a current gen model, that can also be used) ...

worth consideration are fritz’s carrera be and the buchardt s400, now in its 2nd iteration there are others i am aware of and have owned but their current prices exceed the stated range
