if you hit the back of it hard with a rubber mallet sometimes the noise will go away try not to hit the glass tubes

Wow! That Carver Crimson 275 sounds like a real dog! $3k for a made in America amp that doesn’t meet specs? Do you know what I can buy for $3k? How on earth are people buying that amp, and who in the world is Carver using to build them? i actua...

One thing to note is this amplifier only accepts xlr/balanced inputs. I don’t see what you will be driving it with. excellent point - hope the newbie op sees this... important...

op here are a number of solid state amps (some integrated) i think would work GREAT with vandy 2ce sigs, are commensurate with the level of that speaker, and cost effective too (compared to 6 grand for the arc amp) https://www.audiogon.com/listi...

op as others have said, ref75se is a terrific, absolutely top drawer amp whether it will drive vandy 2ce’s depends on room and listening level - in most normal cases it should do just fine that said, as paul mentioned above, for the vandy 2ce (...

I believe I experienced great PRAT for the first time
to me, good music makes me want to tap my feet, swing, move etc etc., whatever you want to call it  a great hifi only helps in that regard i have done a lot of foot tapping on many a long drive in car with very average car stereo
