Is Jim Smith's Book"Get Better Sound"Best Book ? Highly recommended book. Although I knew much of what he suggested, it was nice to have it all on paper and not just in my head. Plus, there were a few especially effective, yet simple ideas I hadn't heard before.
Copper Sleeve over IEC Tried the sleeve last night and was astounded at the improvement just as Ozzy described. More articulate bass, more precise imaging and deeper soundstage. Gotta get one for my HT/secondary system now. Thanks for the great suggestion!
Copper Sleeve over IEC Thanks. Sounds intriguing. Certainly inexpensive enough to give it a try. I'll let you know how it works on my Bryston BCD1.

Cables for Totem, Bryston, Adcom, Rega Dave,I have used the JPS stuff with my Rega Planet 2000 and Bryston 4BST with very satisfying results. I also liked the sound with the Jupiter 2000 and now my Bryston BCD1. Still use the Bryston to power the bass on my VSA VR4JRs via JPS FXs from ...

samsung52" vs sharp52" Consumers Reports seems to recommend most Samsung models well over the Sharp, and most other brands as well. I compared the Samsung to the Sony Bravia and found that although the Samsung did, indeed, have a higher contrast and excellent picture, I... |
