Nuforce STA200
mrdecibel, I purchased a STA200 about a month ago when Audio Advisor received them back in inventory again.  As was discussed previously, the amps high gain resulted in me only being able to turn up the volume on my tube preamp about 1/3 of usual....
Speakers for aging audiophiles - What's with today bass emphasis ?
I have only used their Sys passive to temper the gain on a very high gain amp. Worked like a charm. Hopefully Wolf will chime in with his positive experience with the EQ as he has in the past. Also, you can download the manual on their website. I ...
Speakers for aging audiophiles - What's with today bass emphasis ?
The best first step advice was given by Wolf. "Another simple solution is to utilize a Schiit Loki EQ...works amazingly well."  Might be your best solution and for $149.
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
Yea, I’ve never seen a product where you are discouraged to take a picture of it, let alone there is some taboo against cutting it open to see if its a plain old piece of magnetic backed foam rubber that the seller is claiming magic properties to ...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
I like ozzy's "cutting" idea, and it would be interesting if you could let us know what a cross section looks like.  Does it appear to be all the same and the same material, or stratified layers of differing materials?  If Tim has already answered...
Conrad-Johnson PV 11 preamp tube dilemma
My all tube system sounded great with the morrow interconnects.  But when I switched my tube amp for a SS it resulted in a buzz coming through the speakers, which was immediately eliminated when I switched to another brand interconnect.  Perhaps i...

Uberwaltz, I hope your post is a satire.

jrpnde, I could not agree with you more about Malwarebytes slowing down computer speed and being a memory hog, that is a well documented fact.  Truth be told, Malwarebytes has never given me a "riskware" warning before or after the persistent Audi...
Talk but not walk?
Geoff, I followed you and the prof for a long time, read your copious dissertations, followed your logical arguments, but then I met Ginger and Mary Ann.  Move on off the island sailors.  Your both the epitome of obstreperous and irascible.

stereo5, perfect, many thanks!

Thanks al and new, I am really not worried about "riskware", but just would like its constant malawarebytes message invasion to stop.
Talk but not walk?
Geoff says "obstreperous and irascible".  What a coincidence, these are my two favorite words, I try to slip them into every conversation. Beat me to it this time.

Thanks stereo5 for your suggestion.  This has been going on for a couple of weeks or so.  The Malwarebytes pop up says I can exclude the webpage from being considered "riskware", and I have entered audiogon's webpage name and IP address using seve...
