Acurus Act 3 vs Lexicon Processor "Personally, I'd look elsewhere?" Where would you look. Again, I only need the processor for HT, music is handled elsewhere.
The best bookshelfs Merlin tsm. Either the mm or mx. In my opine beats anything mentioned above. Beats most towers except for low octaves. I've owned nautilus 805s, sig 805s, revel m20s, sf cremona auditors. tsm's whip them.
Sonus Faber Cremonas or Dali Euphonia MS4 Cremona is in my opinion, and that's all any of this is, the better sounding speaker.
Sand and shot? I've tried lead and sand and have settled on concrete powder. It's extremely dense and dead for sound. Non toxic and plentiful/cheap.
McCormack rld vs Bel Canto sep 1 Thanks Mr. McCormack,I am wanting a preamp for quality stereo that I can pass my processor through for HT. I moving away from higher end HT with emphasis on 2 channel, BUT I must have HT retained. Thanks
Processor for Av passthrough Thanks Flrnlamb, I did word it poorly.
Processor for Av passthrough I'm selling the meridian pre/pro to get a good 2 channel and quality cdp. I need a descent processor to pass through the new 2 channel into my amp.
Moving up to audiophile cdp How about the cary 303/100?
tube preamp used with HT Advice on belles 21a, mccormack rld, bat vk30?
tube preamp used with HT I like the looks of the sonic frontiers, but the poor quality reviews on audioreview concern me. How about bel canto sep 1?
Which is Best loudspeaker in the $1000-1200 range? OK folks,Can we address the thread question and not the passions of individual enthusiasts?
Two Questions... None or NO,What's going on with the email addresses? Good move on the bose. Try the Gallos as mentioned above and give up the music on your logitech system. You'll like the speakers for all your needs better.
Two Questions... none my friend, mentioning BOSE in here will get you hung! LOL. Seriously, I started my audio quest the same way. Good luck and don't buy the bose.
Which is Best loudspeaker in the $1000-1200 range? Ah, the quest for he holy grail, a reasonable system that sounds like a 50K system. I'm not sure it exists. Anyway, at that price point I would seriously look at the quad 11/12. Great reviews and a couple of brit. mags speaker of the year 2003. IMHO.
HELLLPPP Ckorody,If I don't use the AE, then don't I need some other form of wireless network setup, i.e. a Linksys model? Thanks for the input from you both. |
