My Proac Studio 140MK II are in diagnal placement too the right speaker is closer to me than the left one it’s a very odd configuration but this is the best "sweet spote" I could find in my room the soundstage is huge and the sound is very smooth ...

@milpai my room size is 10*13 feet the Proac Studio 140MK II works perfectly in my listening room,I did consider the D30R but I am afraid that it’s some kind of a degrade mooving from 2.5 way speakers to 2 way ones.I agree with @axeis1 that the Pr...

I was about to upgrade my Proac Studio 140MKII to the D48R but cancelled it because I realized that I don’t have the space for them my listening room is too small  the D48R need big space to breath , it’s like putting an elephant in porcelain stor...

Best musical sub under $1k?
The best solution is to upgrade your speakers to something else and to avoid adding sub at all.
Who has upgraded their Cambridge AZUR 840C CDP to the new AZUR 851C CDP?
I bought lately the Cambridge Audio CXC cd transport which is actually the same unit as the 851C but without the inner dac and pre sections it is connected to my Macintosh pre/dac and the sound is really amazing, I think it’s better for you to buy...
Top PSB speakers .
I think it worth the effort to drive 500 miles to hear them, this speakers are not cheap and in general  buying speakers at this price level without a demo is a big risk.
Top PSB speakers .
This is not exactly correct many of B&W for example speakers tend to be very flat and bright and are terrible for classical music, lifeless and boring.Didn’t hear the PSB so I can’t comment on them , the the tower 3 looks great on paper.
ProAc comparison
Proac Studio 148 is no longer in production I think , it's not exist at Proac website anymore. It's very sad if it's correct.
Harbeth C7ES3 vs Spendor SP2/3R2
HelomechIf the Spendor can fill your listening space their sound is better than the MA overall more organic, natural and effortless  I certenly agree with you but it’s a pity that you have to add a sub maybe it’s better to buy one of Spendor’s floo...
Looking for CD player recommendations that are a great match with Classe & Vandersteen
I agree with gdnrbob you should consider a standalone dac and cd transport and good coax cable too. You’ll need to strech your budget.
Harbeth C7ES3 vs Spendor SP2/3R2
You have a relatively big space if you liked the MA S8 the logical think to do is to upgrade to the higher level MA Platinum 200 II ,really great speakers with great bass extension that can fill your room easily with huge soundstage. I  think that...
Small living room speaker options.. Totem Arro?
The Proac Studio 148 are very easy to place ,they have down port at the bottom make them unfussy placement just throw them in the room and that's it.Very efficient speakers with huge soundstage and dynamics.
