| A system for my college-bound daughter I would just get Grado RS-1 headphones and Audioquest Black dac/headphone amp. That would be good enough sound with computer source. If she needs speakers too, Audioengine powered speakers should be enough, if not - Dynaudio powered speakers. | |

| Who else is using old cables/interconnects, and is happy? I have kept original Purist Colossus fluid speaker cables for 20 years, along with the same speakers. Feel no need to replace them until I upgrade the speakers. I have changed all the rest cables and cords with excellent results. | |

| Jazz for aficionados Youtube, Tidal, Qobuz sound ridiculous compared to tape, vinyl and even cd. I cannot listen to those in the main system, and the dac I have is not bad at all. My computer listening is with headphones only. | |
