Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better? I will not even answer. That would be best, since you would be unable to refute it. Anybody can verify what i said about your behaviour consulting the thread last 2 pages "the mystery of sound is mysticism". As I typed previously: there wa...
Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better? you came uninvited for example in the thread "the mystery of sound is mysticism " where you never posted any positive contribution expressely to derail the thread with sarcasms @mahgister , alluding to that particular thread: Audiogon Managemen...

Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better? Confirmation biases has nothing to do with "lying to ourself" in particular or specifically Yes, it does, obviously. Careful, @hilde45 , you are heading down the road to crazy-town.
Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better? I have a hold of a few preferences, but one of my experiences with hearing new systems is getting a new idea of how something can hang together beautifully +1.

Is positive reinforcement why things are sounding better? I would say that if you are hearing things that you were not hearing before, or even hearing things in a different way, it may not be confirmation bias.
I don't get it...Exile on main Street-Blue Until recently, I spent my life thinking they were saying "She's A honky tonk woman" instead of "All the honky tonk women". And up until quite recently I thought there were lyrics about Maxwell Madison, not Maxwell Edison, who was majoring in ...

Tubes Recommendation for McIntosh Preamp I sort of remember a thread up not all that long ago by someone bitching about the quality of the stock JJ (I think they were 12 ax7s) tubes in his Mac (I cannot remember if it was an amp or a pre). That was making me think that Mac was putting J...
Going Tubing OP, about 30 years ago when I started my trek down the road to 'better end' audio, my intent was to combine HT with 2 channel stereo. Therefore I went with a ss digital HT pre in front of (for the left & right front speakers) Cary's entry lev...
Going Tubing I am actually surprised almost everyone is talking hardware. I have found the tubes selected have a SIGNIFICANT impact on sound. Sure, but OP probably needs the gear to put the tubes into before ge goes shopping for different tubes.
Should Amps be plugged into a power conditioner? The main reason I don't think amps should ever be plugged into a power conditioner is that I enjoy having them repaired after lightning strikes. @erik_squires , are you making a case for surge protection or for power conditioners?
Seek advice on forums but always listen to your own ears! Unfortunately it can be hard to figure out what is good advice and what's not. That's a +1! Someone asks a question and five people (or there abouts) answer one way, and then another five (or so) answer the exact opposite. |
