Heat sinking op-amps - any audio improvements? I know it sounds crazy, but maybe keeping them even a little bit cooler might be beneficial. Crazy? Not really. Thermal Design Basics - Analog Devices
Heat sinking op-amps - any audio improvements? I’m debating trying some on some NE5532’s. Worth the effort? Why not? It's an inexpensive tweak and can easily reverted.
Accuphase E-480 just wanna confirm that change its 100v for 120v, I only need change below jumper setting J4 -> J5 J10 -> J8 J6 -> J11 From previous experience of Accuphase amplifier voltage conversion, change 100V to 120V only required move two j...
Accuphase E-480 meter flicking @zensview I suspected your E480 voltage conversion was incorrect, can you provide images of the power board (front and back), maybe we can figure it out.
Accuphase E-408 voltage conversion @zeptul please counter check if the jumper positions are correct. If the jumpers position are correct, the setting should be as below: 100V mains = J5, J7, J9 120V mains = J4, J6, J9 220V mains = J5, J8 240V mains = J4, J8 ...
Accuphase E-408 voltage conversion Thanks @zeptul for the images, I will check it out and get back to you later.
Accuphase E-408 voltage conversion @zeptul If you can post pictures of the power board (front and back) on your System page, I believe we can figure out the jumper setting for 220,240V mains. This is an example: https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/10301 https://foru...

THETA DREADNAUGHT II TRIGGER The problem is not the cable, it is the Theta Dreadnaught II required 12V pulse signal instead of constant signal that your MX121 sent out. In order to turn off the Dreadnaught II, you need to turn on the MX121 again then turn it off.
THETA DREADNAUGHT II TRIGGER Some older Classe and Proceed amplifiers and the Theta Dreadnaught II need pulse signal to activate its remote trigger. You need a adapter to convert your preamp 12V constant triggering signal to pulse signal. http://Theta Digital Dreadnaught II...
Acccuphase e800 japan Yes, you can change the voltage to 220/240V by moving two connectors to top row, remove jumper J1 and J3, connect J2, change fuse to 5A.
Accuphase E380 ... have some chili crab after! Yummy!!! 👍👍 Nov I will be in Singapore for vacation, can’t wait to enjoying all the delicious Singapore cuisine!
Voltage conversion of Accuphase A-65 or A-70 does it require solder? Based on a web photo, the Accuphase A70 utilize Faston connection for voltage conversion, no soldering required. Swapping two wires will change the incoming mains voltage from 100V to 120V. If you can post a image of th...
Low buzzing through speaks IMO, both @dpop and @russ69 give you great recommendations, if the XLR ground lift adaptoer works, it will eliminate the hum/buzz noise. Otherwise, an 10dB in-line XLR attenuator will reduce the noise 10dB (since the noise is not affected by the v...
