Great Interview-
Nothing comes close to live I beg to differ. I’ve heard many concerts live that sounded awful, too loud, or unbalanced. That includes acoustic concerts in spaces that were not right.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@mrdecibel Thanks for the kinds words about the room. I've done a lot to get it there, and have other treatments stored away in case they are needed!
Interconnect priority
What about Streamer to DAC (assuming they're separates)? Further up the chain, more consequential, perhaps?
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@silverfoxvtx1800 Please post notes after you have had time to settle things in and had a chance to go back and forth a few times? Thanks.
Thumper’s Mother
@uncledemp Yes, you've laid out your case, for sure. If I grasped it, it was "be nice." Hope I haven't oversimplified it. And who's "tata"? She sounds fun. ;-)

A vote up/vote down button would enable civil users to criticize those posts which cross the line indicated by the OP. Without such a feature, things can derail into bickering or finger-wagging. Moderators, how about an up/down button?
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@bodega Thanks for pointing out the change. Now it only strongly implies that they’re made it China.   The Klipsch company is coy about revealing where their speakers are made, or perhaps more importantly where parts of their speakers are made...
YouTube star Jay loves McIntosh MC 901 amplifier
We're in a culture where contradictions don't matter. Say "A" one day, say "Not A" another? No one seems to care. Hell, even throw in some nonsense about Hannibal Lecter in your videos, Jay. It's all about keeping attention, and the truth is a mer...
Watts! How many do we need?
How about this? Or this? Or maybe that? Or that? And who could forget this? Search engines...I wuv you.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@bodega @mrdecibel I’d be interested in solid fact. I am inclined to believe that Volti’s facts are correct, if only because claiming it on a public facing website -- in a post clearly advantaging his own, competing product -- would be a huge n...
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@bolong The website you linked to says, "Many Klipsch speakers are made in the USA with global materials, however, in recent years, they’ve moved some manufacturing overseas to countries like China. Their speakers within their Heritage line, ...
Help with high end bookshelf speakers
I'm so in love with Fritz's Carbon 7 Mk2 SE that's what I'd try to make work, but it really depends on your tastes.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@silverfoxvtx1800  That's a really great quote -- which doesn't address the main issue. While it's great to see all the things Volti is improving over Klipsch, and people can decide for themselves about those differences (they seem significant...
A day in the life of an audiophile
@cdc Totally agree.  I don't think it's an audiophile thing, though. It has to do with the various technologies of this world trying to get and keep our attention. Some want to nag, some want to help, most want to advertise. Henry David Thoreau wa...
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@mrdecibel either you or Volti are correct on this. YOU: The Klipsch Heritage series cabinets are made here, as are the pro and cinema lines. or Volti website: "The Klipsch Forte cabinet is made in China of material that is just a step above...
