Who thinks $5K speaker cable really better than generic 14AWG cable?
200-400 hours is realistic to hear improvement in new cable as the dielectric breaks in.

I agree with rvpiano above.  If you have the available money you could look up RHB Dezigns located in Churchville, PA and give Bob Backert a call.  He would be able to fix your PV-11 and could recommend various sonic improvements he could do to it...

@cleeds    Good point about checking all of the outlets in the home.  I had that done by an electrician in 1997 after our house suffered a direct lightning strike.  Interestingly, he found a couple outlets that were wired incorrectly. Amazing how ...
