How do I hook up a subwoofer for 2-channel
I use the high level connections(speakers). These seem to intergrated better then the low level(preamp out). They seem to be faster. The signal reaches your subs at the same time as they reach your speakers. With the low levels, it is just a littl...
Cats and audiophiles
One of my cats with run out and set right in the middle of the room when I put on Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of Voodoo Chile. She will set there and stair from one speaker to the other for the whole song.
Need help with rel or velodyne subwoofer for ster
Just try it both ways and see what you prefer. With an REL you can it hooked up both ways. I still prefer the high level inputs. They seem to blend much better with my speakers, the timing is just right. You are getting the signal to the sub at th...
Need help with rel or velodyne subwoofer for ster
To me, most subs sound better using the high level inputs. And like Si said, that is what REL recommends.
headphone help
Try www.headfi.com Site for all the headphone junkies. That would be best place for headphone info.
Speakers for a first-time separates system?
I have a friend that just bought a pair of Tyler's. And they do sound great. And the build quality is excellent. He also had nothing but great things to say about the customer service. I just might have to look into a pair myself.
What is the Meadowlark house sound?
That house is empty now.
Music Hall cd-25 or Rega planet 2000
You can't go wrong with either of them. They are both fine players for the money. But I would lean more to the Rega myself.
Best Jazz and Rock & Roll HDCD CDs
Also, if you like 80's metal. Motley Crue's Theatre of Pain is HDCD.
Integraded Amp
Try the NAD 320BEE. It is a great sounding integraded for the money. It does have tone controls, as well as a bypass for them.
Cambrigde Azur 640c???
I have heard it with a NAD 320BEE also, and while it was good, the Music Hall was better.
Von Schweikert synergy
I also tried them with a Linn Classik, Rega Mira 3, and a Jolida 1501. Of those, the Jolida was the best fit. But not as good as the Unison.
Von Schweikert synergy
I had very good luck pairing up the VR-1 and a Unison Unico.
Subwoofer for under $1000-new, used, or DIY
The best sub I have ever had for music is an REL strata III. Intergrates perfect with my speakers.
B&K preamp/tuners.....
I once owned a PT-3 preamp/tuner. Thought it was great for the money. The build quality is excellent. The features were great. The tuner was only so so. I still prefer those old analog tuners.
