My new NETGEAR - Orbi 960 Series AXE11000 Quad-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E Router System is installed and working perfectly. We placed the 2nd router (satellite) in our living room and have a full signal everywhere. The Best Buy Technician installed it ve...

I took the back cover off the access point and noticed the unit was very hot. I unplugged it from power and turn the power back on after one hour. Is it possible the unit is overheating?  After one hour, my iPhone is connecting perfectly to the ac...

After reviewing the system Log file, LUXUL Customer Support reports my LUXUL 1510 Access Point (Extender) is connecting and then losing its connection to the Internet. I asked but they do not know why this is happening and are investigating. My b...

Thanks for all your advice. My LUXUL Access Point is not working. I spent 90 minutes with LUXUL Customer Support and they were unable to get my iPhone, etc. to connect to it. He had me Check many screens, reboot all devices and more. He finally ga...

I setup my guest network as a learning experience.  My guests are trustworthy so that was not the concern or issue.   This was an experiment (THAT FAILED). Several hours after I created the guest network, I was UNABLE to access my main network f...

Yikes. I am looking at 6E routers and Wi-Fi routers 7 are already being talked about. This technology is changing very quickly, see below: See Wi Fi 7 explained link

I also trust my guests but wanted to learn how to setup a guest network on my LUXUL router 3150. I learned it was very difficult to do on my 5 year old router. Most of the newer routers provide a much easier process. Yes, I am going to replace my...

I setup my guest network as an experiment to see what was involved. My LUXUL router guest network setup was very, VERY difficult. I emailed them and suggested their newer LUXUL 6E DAC version needs to make the process easier. In addition, an LUXU...
Bricasti MDX upgrade
audphile1, I switched back and forth between the 2 settings. I thought the wide setting sounded better (Wide / Fine). I suggest you do the same comparison. I thought the wide setting was more natural and Musical. Hope thus helps.
Bricasti MDX upgrade

Bricasti MDX upgrade
I also installed the Bricasti MDx upgrade board in my Bricasti M21. My system sounds clearer, smoother, more engaging with more musical details. I like it very much and also recommend the MDx board upgrade. Please read the instructions carefully ...
notable consolidation possibility, should I or not?
Regardless of what equipment you decide to purchase, I encourage you borrow the equipment and listen in your home.  This process will help ensure you make the right decision. Most retailers will allow this.
notable consolidation possibility, should I or not?
The answer to your DAC question is complicated.  Simply stated, I know when music sounds good and does not.  Obviously (based on my MANY, MANY amplifier and DAC changes), I am not happy with audio equipment that does not sound good.  So, yes, I so...

+1, I also recommend an integrated amp for the same reasons stated above. DAC technology is constantly changing so a separate DAC is the best solution. I replaced my SimAudio 340i amp with the Musical Fidelity M6Si integrated DAC because it sounds...
Used DACs for sale - help me choose
+1, I agree with the above choice of the Ayre CODEX DAC. This DAC sounds excellent and should be priced under $1,000. See this link for an Ayre CODEX DAC
