Need Large display DMM for biasing amps
Thank you Blindjim for all the excellent info. As I have graduated to pure non visual UI two and a half decades ago, I am intrigued by the Fluke with USB capability. I would interface with the ICON talking PDA, which is all based on LINUX and Pyth...

Thank you Simontju. like the Rowland 312, It now appears that the Spectron Musician 3 may sport a balanced output as well. I will post here as I find out more details.

Sounds good BlindJim, let me know how the quest goes. . . there are many ways to skin this particular cat. Ghosthouse, yes there are dedicated magnifying lenses and mono/binoculars for visually impaired people. Problem with magnifying lenses is th...

Dyspepsia is an other word for upset stomach, a perfect 'family values friendly' condition. My musical happiness is tempered by current hot weather. . . my Rowland 7M golden oldies do become rather warm during Summer in my loft. So I won't use the...

9RW, quoting once more the sage of Appenzell:"one often has problems with experimental seekers of the small and sadly subjective truth (note small 't'), when one has already been so fortunate to grok a-priori The ultimate absolute and ever objecti...

Stltrains, I have not heard the NewForce amp as yet. I was attracted to it and to this thread because of its promise of a low cost, musical and crisp sounding solution. Still am, in spite of having found on this thread a small minority of 'true be...

Right on, controversy is a terrible thing. . . and that's exactly why it was rightfully barred for 70 years in the USSR, 25 years in Italy, 7 years in Greece, 11 years in Germany, 59 years in China. . . disperse now good people and cease disturbin...
Review: Spectron Musician III Signature Edition Amplifier
Zaikesman, I agree with you, the description sounds very much  like that of a push/pull configuration. Yet, as I am not an EE, I can't be sure. I view the reason that few designers have chosen this Rowland/McCormac output path to be relatively sim...
