I am not a big Kef fan especially for the classical and jazz. Harbeth, definitely. Somehow you room sounds "scandinavian" and I'd look at Scandinavian brands: Dyna, Buchardt, Marten

btw, nothing wrong with caring about the looks. I want to love the way they look. I would have never upgraded unless I tried SF speakers and when I heard their not so special sound I could move on. I am convinced that most audiophile speakers' loo...

@bwguy I have nothing against B&W, great speakers. but when I compared them at the dealer with other brands, they lacked the excitement - what my ears said

I compared the Evoke 20s and the Special 40, the Evoke sounded way better. I am more than happy with them

I love the Dynaudio Evoke, had both the 10 and 20, incredible speakers.
