Buyer Dispute I am also surprised there was no insurance for the shipping of such expensive items
Buyer Dispute this is a fraud. He sold you something he KNEW was defective. He is not a potato farmer, he is in the audio business. Your easiest remedy is small claims court. It takes some work, but he will likely want to avoid it, it's a good deterrent.

Affordable vs. ultra expensive speakers - what's the difference? close your eyes, let them play it at whichever San Diego dealer and your ears will tell you. Not us, not the price tag, but wherever the sound will take you
Suggest your most desired MSRP $1,500-$3,000 Stand Mount for a Shootout. Someone from Underwood HiFi reached out to me to address my concerns. I responded and I never heard back. It's such a typical and sad customer treatment, band-aid over the complaint and not the issue.

I listened to them for weeks, side by side with 3 other speakers, same price category. They lacked the imaging, character, the dullest speakers I ever had. The real bad sign was: I ...

Speakers for daughter I concur with Monitor Audio too! "Bose shouldn’t even be mentioned on this site!" wow :)
Dynaudio Special 40 They are pretty awesome, I saw them as the demo speakers at several dealers. It they love them, they must be good.
Underpowered? you should burn both the amp and the speakers, if they don't pair well, it's possible they just refuse pairing.
