Agreed! So true.
Which 30K Speakers Would You Give Up For Tekton Double Impacts?
Well they do sound pretty good out of the box in a well matched system and room. The additional hours do nothing but help. For some of us it’s that improved tonality and openness etc....that makes all the difference. I suppose to others these burn...

The DIs and SEs do work with many different amps due to their high efficiency. So while the universe of amps that can be used is pretty wide, synergy and dialing in a complete system/room takes time.

Two factors are at play here for sure. These speakers do take all of 400 - 500 hours to burn in and sound their best. Many don’t believe in the notion of burn-in and some that do think the improvement will only be slight. The fact is these speaker...

My 2170’s display gets hard to read the deeper one goes into the menu screens. It is getting worse so I decided to email Lyngdorf last week. Thus far no response from customer service. I just sent another email and we will see. My unit is no longe...

Ditto on the iFi Micro USB 3.  Power it with a nice LPS and the improvement in sound is stunning.
The Method of Tuning
Same here. I have spent many hours trying to sort out why I cannot open up Tuneland as well as other links on his site.  I have given up at this point.  None of my Apple devices can, nor my wife’s Apple devices. However, my son’s Apple devices can...
Is the 2.5 way speaker the ideal home speaker?
@helomeck.  I made that point early on and it is one of the best advantages. That is why I also like a simple two way design.  Nice post.

Goodness sound only as the DIs are not good looking speakers. I have owned other speakers like Soundlab M1s, Harbeth 40.1, Coincident Total Victory II, Lahave Audio $18,000 speakers, and many others. The DI is in that league and better in many resp...
Which 30K Speakers Would You Give Up For Tekton Double Impacts?
Well I sold speakers with a retail price of $22,000 for them.  AZ Crescendo. Not quite $30,000 retail, but I think this stills falls within your post’s intent. Thanks.
Timbernation Platform Problems
Wood has a nice natural sound. I like all natural wood for tone. This Timbernation stuff is priced right also.
TRL 595 Discussion Died Years Ago
The battery power supply was a tad less dynamic, but a little more “analog” sounding.  Just more at ease/natural and less electronic sounding.
Is the 2.5 way speaker the ideal home speaker?
I think they certainly can be. Look at the Dali Epicon 6 speakers. The EPICON 6 relies on a 2½-way system. It features an additional woofer kicking in below 600Hz. However, for the highest frequencies the EPICON 6 also incorporates a ribbon tweete...
