The Audio Gods are tough but fair-Have you had the "Curse of the 300B" ?
If any readers want an overview of SE vs PP, this is the best I’ve ever found. It’s clear and interesting:http://www.x3mhc.no/dokumenter/SE-v-PP-Part1.pdf
Really...My favorite power tube is reissue that's not widely popular
Working around the Eico sidebar....good question re midrange. Let’s face it we are all looking for the “Goldilocks” tube, the mid warmth and tone of the EL34 and the highs and lows of the KTs. Have the 7581a’s now, trying to find time to plug them...
What are the speakers you very rarely find in the Used market(Audiogon or Anywhere)?
Three_easy....yep I’ve been keeping my eye out for D7s or D9s for some time now, rarely happens. I think it’s because there just aren’t lot of them in the US, plus owners hang on to them.

Have you ever wondered why speaker manufactures do not consign speakers to dealers?
Though, every time I turn mine on I think...how can anyone live without one of these?
Is this the end of HEA?
I started this thread a while back, the same general topic. The consensus was that HEA is in better shape now than we generally assume...https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/i-wonder-how-many-audiophiles-there-are-these-days

Better "Noise Cancelling" Headphones for Air Travel?
I’ve been using active noise cancelling for a long time. Aside from the electronics, a major part of the noise reduction is the physical blocking of noise from covering the ears (and the padding around the ears). In-ear, regardless of quality, jus...
Better "Noise Cancelling" Headphones for Air Travel?
Over the ear are by far the best in quieting down the noise, which really reduces flying fatigue. Bose and Sony’s (the new models) are best. I own Bose specially for air travel, and others for at home for sound quality. Better to buy for them spec...
