Restrictions, behind the 8 ball.
I love AG Forms for taking the boring times during the day and making then interesting.
Is it the amp or the wiring?
Wiring could have a very small short that only shows itself when there is enough current-potential to over come the resistance in the short, that could show up as an intermittent problem. If your wiring is in your wall then only way to check that ...
Any Love For Bryston Here?
Bryston has always set the standard for customer service in both the pro and consumer products.
Interconnect recomendations, ~$500 new or used, RCA...
I've been using AudioNote UK's silver series interconnects and am quite happy with them. They run in your price range. If you can find Siltech cables used, another I really like (I use their silver/gold annealed speaker cables). NVA (Nene valley au...
Roon - streaming only...where'd you get your NAS?
One thing to note I would not post your looking for free music - coping someone else's music etc.  as that goes against recording industry law. Pirating. Keep that stuff to your self
What is your favorite tube type?
I run 300b's currently and do like what they give in the midrange I like the Gold Lion 300b best ( I will never be able to afford NOS 300b's). But I would say 6550's are one of my fav's they just seem to get the music right. I do like the NOS 6550...
Luxman L590AXii vs Accuphase E-650 for a Shindo lover
You do not want to leave a class A amp on all the time. One its very hot running and leaving it on will shorten its life, but class A amps take very little time to warm up. Also leaving it on is not the best for our environment your burning full p...
Pulling myself out of old, broken equipment, one hesitant step at a time...
I’d like to know the shop whos charging you that much to recone-refoam 2 drivers. seriously you can buy new drivers for less then that (most likely). An example a used set of your speakers sold on Audiomart for less then $500 Canadian last April. ...
Supercapacitors. How often are they used in audio?
Only one I know of is Vinnie Rossi Audio and he uses them as an isolated power supply system. Interesting concept as it basically removes the electric supply as a noise source. https://www.vinnierossi.com/
Looks vs. Performance - How would you mix and match?
maybe i'm dating myself here but there was some really beautiful equipment in the 70's. some of them old receivers- integrateds were quite nice looking  compared to plainsvill today (oh look another flat piece of aluminum with two knobs on it). ;-...
Buyer is claiming damage that was done by him!
geoffkait. In Canada they will not insure anything over $1 k that was not packaged by them or opened and packaging confirmed by them ,it's  the same for the UPS Stores as well as FedX here. Not sure how the USPS works as I'm not there.
Has anyone heard the new Audio Technica AT-OC9X series of cartridges?
Save up and get the AT ART 9, I spent the evening listening to one recently and was very impressed (Impressed enough I ordered one). there was also an OC 9 in the mix but an older one but it was quite obvious how much better the ART 9 is.
Primaluna EVO 300 or Carey 120S MKII?
I've Owned Cary gear in the past and was always very happy with it. I had an SLP 94 and SLM 100 Mono blocks (100wpc) (driving ProAc R 2.5's). that system was at the time one of the most musical I have yet to own. I still dream of sitting listening...
How to replace hardwired stock power cord ?
Your CD player is very old (20+ years) and really is it worth spending time and money trying to upgrading it? I highly doubt you'll hear much sound difference with a power cord change (I've been wrong before though). I'd bet you'd have better sou...

I'd suggest you wait for pictures before venting your anger here as just maybe your at fault and he is being honest. we are all Human and make mistakes so before you blame the person here why not look at their evidence first and then make a judgme...
