Anyone hear of the Black Cable Tie tweak?
GK - In answer to the subject line of your post, "I have not".I must say I do respect your aptitude for self-promotion.Wondering if maybe you are Rok2id's evil twin? (Using a more subtle approach to ridicule "audiophile-dom"?) Not that I consider ...
Recommendation: great floorstander & amp $3K ea
Jamey - $6K is a great budget. For what it's worth, I'm running Totem Forests with Consonance Cyber 800SE monoblocks & a Cyber Reference 50 (all bought used). I love the Forests and expect to keep them but just for a different sound now and th...
12.12.12 concert
Didn't see it and probably glad. Chayro - agree with you. God help this country when the vacuous pontificating of a privileged, ignorant, self-important and let me say "hypocritical" (though in fairness, they probably don’t realize it) elite , no...
Tube upgrades for Jolida 502B?
Tbromgard - I hope you enjoy your Jolida 502 as much as I did mine. The tube complement recommended by the Tube Store sounded great. Unfortunately, the JJ KT88s just did not seem that reliable. I had a couple fail in well under 1000 hrs and on at ...
Bungee Cords
This is too funny. I thought I was the only loon (or at least my wife thinks I am). I came across an ad here on A'gon for a device that basically "clamps" your equipment to some sort of base or plinth. Sort of like a big wood clamp. In the categor...
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Toto IV...old and purchased used. NOT an "a'phile reissue" but very quiet and dynamic. It sounds great. Really enjoying the harmonies on Side 1, Track 3 "I Won't Hold You Back".
Judy Collins
Rp - yes exactly on both.
Judy Collins
Rp - thanks for sharing. We are contemporaries, you and I. The music will never be that way again. Not to say there's no great music being made today but those were some exciting years.

bi-wire vs jumpers
Henrly - functionally, it doesn't. I thought that was the point of Roscoe's post. Or at least, that's how I read it.

bi-wire vs jumpers
Links to a couple of sites that had some discussion of the topic. I found both helpful. Do that copy & paste thing.http://www.vandersteen.com/pages/Answr7.htmhttp://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/~www_pa/Scots_Guide/audio/biwire/Page1.html
Donald Fagen-Sunken Condos
This is definitely growing on me. From the get-go thought the lyrics were very good. Took some time for the music to open up to me (don't mean sonically). Especially liking guitar work by Jon Herington. Thinking it might rank above Morph the Cat i...
Supertramp
Rebbi - if you don't have them, the solo stuff I mentioned by Roger Hodgson is very enjoyable.
