D to A converter purchase....
whiskeypirate I’m debated on either a Wadia 321 or the Schiit Gungnir Multibit. Wadia is delta sigma conversion and the Schiit is r2r multibit. If Redbook pcm 24/96 or 16/44 or DXD cd or download is your priority, the go with the bit perfect way...

The Jadis JA200Mk2 review---or slam!
The Jadis JA200Mk2 review---or slam! Who in their right mind gives a tube amp to a reviewer with speakers that have a .9ohm EPDR loading in the bass, this is an admin cockup.  This is what I wrote in the comments at the bottom of the Stereoph...

Looking for a CD player that holds 5 CDs
swampwalker5,093 posts02-02-2018 7:40amCAL CL-10.   +1 for the California Audio Labs CL-10, great unit, read the review of the CL15 which is the same except a single disc unit. They have the PCM1702 dac, one of the best redbook converters, and ...
Bookshelf speakers that sound good on a SHELF or SIDEBOARD
Not a 100% written in speaker design laws. But mounting on a shelf or sideboard, usually means your going to get some bass loading addition because of close proximity to walls, corners or the sideboard itself. Because of this I would look more to s...
Why do many discussions about sonic performance disintegrate into technical discusions?
this thread disintegrated into technical discussions Nah, disintegrated only for those poor souls that have no technical knowledge, so all they can do is whinge about it, because all they have to believe in is "snake oil". Cheers George
