The cleaning of an LP jacket Recently received an order from Sleeve City, so I don't believe they are Out of Business.
Jim Morrison/The Doors/Isle of Wight Concert Nope- I believe there is a very active thread over on the Hoffman site though. I'd love to check it out. So far, I only have Felt Forum, and Absolutely Live. Both on Vinyl of course!
Well tempered gta and Allnic 1201 which cartridge? I think the EMT line fly's under the radar...Certainly in the states. Did you get the Brinkmann EMT? Does the Allnic have a built in SUT? Not that you will need it, but most MC tube phono sections do employ SUT's.
Kuzma Stabi S and 4point? overkill? Old thread as far as original question, but I have asked the following question to someone pretty high up in the Kuzma hierarchy. Would the 313 REF arm be overkill for the Stabi S or S-12? I was told a customer uses a Stabi S with the Air Line arm...
Led Zeppelin Classic Records 45 series -Am I nuts? The Music Matters 33's are excellent, and many feel are close, if not on par, with their 45rpm counterparts. So, still great info given by Mike. One thing's for sure... If they re-press that box, many of us will reach for our wallets fast. Are you...
Turntable setup in Chicagoland area I was thinking Brian Walsh before opening this up. Yes, Brian.
Led Zeppelin Classic Records 45 series -Am I nuts? I have only heard Stairway to Heaven @ 45rpm, as it was the bonus disc with my Classic 33 rpm box set of Zep 1 through IV. It’s damn good, but of course many of us missed the boat on the 45RPM box. I just can’t pay the current asking prices. Hones...
Kuzma Stabi S and 4point? overkill? Thanks again. Any other thoughts on the Stabi S table?
What do you listen to when no one else can hear it Caravanserai is a great LP. I tend to listen to Black Sabbath, of late Vol.4, S/T, and SBS, without my wife. My listening pals for the most part, are also not fans.
altec Model 19’s and ss integrated The Croft is really nice, I agree with helomech. I've not tried mine with my Altec's, but it is quite nice with my Harbeth P3's. You don't like the Linear Tube Audio thought...
altec Model 19’s and ss integrated Hmmm- I'm using a 300B Parallel SET with my Valencia's. Maybe Linear Tube Audio. I believe they are David Berning designs.
Record Cleaning Fluid? As in no surfactant- just plain distilled? Not for the vacuum cleaning system.... Oh boy- I was told by an industry professional Plain old distilled H2O from the store is fine as a rinse. I even expressed a willingness to go with a regeant H2O, or...
Duelund DCA16GA I finally got off my lazy behind, and tried the Duelund 16GA bare wire between my Werner Jagusch Crossover, and Altec Valencia drivers. It's in the early going, but I'm really impressed. Compared to my Belden 9497, it is more lively, yet still ext...
Record Cleaning Fluid? I rinse with it at the end of an Audio Intelligent 2-step process. VPI 16.5... start with Audio Intelligent #15, Vac with wand only for #15. Then rinse with Distilled H2O, drying with different wand.
Mobile Fidelity UltraDeck with MC cart Perhaps reaching out to Allen Perkins would help. I also find Roger at Music Direct to be a straight shooter. I think it's a very interesting table, and certainly one I would be looking at in that price range. I have to divert this to Well Tempere... |
