Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Nevermind, I see that Ohm makes a center channel.
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
What center channel with the 100's for a very modest HT setup?
Preamp Deal of the Century
Throw a little red meat on the ground and watch the dogs run in.As a business owner myself, I can tell you horror stories about customers who completely make up stories to support their own self-interest. Just last night we had dinner with another...
Any comments on the deHavilland UltraVerve preamp?
Mr. Tennis, why would you possibly return the preamp because it didn't suit your listening taste. That's what reviews are for; to tell us lemmings what you liked or disliked about a certain piece of equipment and why. By describing it for the rest...

Wow. Now I'm disappointed. Oh well, now to replace my brilliant pebbles instead.

Eldartford,What binding posts "blow you away"? I am curious as I will be needing some shortly.

Anyone using the Transistor Research LabsM 225's
Gammajo,Sorry, my fault. It wasn't Audio Circle, but rather - head-fi. As always, there are two sides to every story and who knows what the truth really is. I simply found this thread when I began researching TRL due to the raves here on the 'Gon ...
Anyone using the Transistor Research LabsM 225's
Clio, I have not heard the M225's or the D225 (could the "D" simply stand for digital and the M for mono blocks?).Make no mistake. I am not disparaging Class D. I have often wondered whether I should sideline my Berning and try a Bel Canto, Spectr...
Anyone using the Transistor Research LabsM 225's
Tvad, I suspect that your suspicions are correct :) All of the Class D trademarks are present. The sound, the lack of heat, the efficiency, and the price, all add up to scream Class D!
class d - anyone compared bel canto/CI/wyred4sound
Grant, what amp are you currently using and why? Shoot me a quick email if you don't want to discuss it here.Aloha,Warren
Gabriel Gold IC's are they really this good?
Antonkk,I haven't heard the Gabriel PC's, but if you are going to spend that kind of money, you owe it to yourself to consider the Stealth Dream pc's. Read the reviews here. They have replaced many other $$$$ pc's. They aren't cheap, but neither a...
amp platform suggestions...
Yes, I am currently using 1/2" Lexan shelves. Best solution I have found yet. And don't confuse Lexan with Plexiglas. Two different materials. In time I may try two pieces of Lexan with a piece of acoustic felt in between. Not sure if that will be...
amp platform suggestions...
Two inch thick maple cutting boards totally bloated the sound of my system. Slow, confused, overly warm, muddy, you name it. Simply put, the maple cutting boards were terrible in my system.
How thick is the limit?... never heard anyone say?
I may be the exception, but I found 2 1/2" maple butcher blocks to be slow and muddy sounding. They made my system sound terrible. I would suggest trying them before you buy them if possible. One thing is for sure. They definitely make a difference...
