I love that guys YouTube channel. I don’t know what microphone he uses, but his videos always sound good considering it’s YouTube.  Nothing wrong with using Bose 901s if that’s what you like. Play the hell out them. I agree with the earlier poste...

@gpgr4blu  I admit I just recently heard of him and Khraungbin. Both are simply fantastic groups. I am waiting on the delivery of Texas Sun and Texas Moon.   
I need a subwoofer recomendation
In that price range I would look at Hsu subs. Nothing else comes close at that cost. Once you get to the $1400-$1500 price range, Rythmik subs are unbeatable.

I just want to share a link to a video of Leon Bridges as an example of outstanding “new” music. The talent is out there. I do realize the video is from 2016, but I think it meets the new music definition. Enjoy!
