How long is it taking to receive a preamp? I just inquired about ordering a Mc phono preamp and it will be about 4 months from order to delivery.
Is it ever enough? Earlier in the year I thought I would build my own bi-wire speaker cable set from amp to speaker. I had some adequate cable and bought some sheathing to cover them plus a set of gold plated spade lugs. In the end they made no difference at all. I ...

Porsche When I turned 70 my wife finally allowed me to buy my Porsche 911. Just a plain Carrera with the base engine. Of course the base engine in 2018 has 370hp and twin turbos. It is now three years old and I am still in love with it and the wife.....!
Does listening to music increase your IQ? I always feel darn smart when listening and drinking a glass of wine!!!
When are people going to wake up and realize listening is a skill? Getting back to Porsche. I wanted one for many years and finally at age 70 I was "allowed" to buy one and I acquired a brand new 911 in GT Silver. It is now three years old and I still love it.....!
DIY PCs I made my own PCs with Furutec components from Cable Co. I bought heat shrink tubing and cable covering from Amazon. I was able to make custom lengths for my five cables. Good luck.

Build a wooden crate or use a cardboard box for Amplifier. Contact Krell and ak if they will sell you a packing box for your units. A lot of manufacturers will do this. I know McIntosh does. You would pay for the boxes but they are designed for your particular units. FWIW
Hearing aids for audiophiles. FWIW I have worn hearing aids for over 15 years. I started with "in the canal" versions. They are ok but the my current are behind the ear and give the best possible audio experience. They are Starkey Audibel Via. They a rechargeable bluetooth and...
Considering an integrated jutish you are brave for mentioning McIntosh. I agree the MA5300 is a great amp and I had one. Most folks around here do not care for Mc but I do and own a great setup with separates.
Ignored Offers Over a year ago I made a very reasonable offer on a Mc amp and never got a response. The amp is still for sale. I would be nice to at least get a "no thanks" or a counteroffer.
How to find the min and max bending radius of a cable. Why did I read through this...? |
