Matching solid state amps with tube based pre amps
I run a McIntosh C2600 tube preamp with McIntosh MC611 SS mono blocks. They work very well together.

What can I say, I love my McIntosh system. But I rarely say that I am on this forum because there are so many folks that will flame you. Go ahead I do not care...!

Is it ever enough?
Earlier in the year I thought I would build my own bi-wire speaker cable set from amp to speaker. I had some adequate cable and bought some sheathing to cover them plus a set of gold plated spade lugs. In the end they made no difference at all. I ...

Getting back to Porsche. I wanted one for many years and finally at age 70 I was "allowed" to buy one and I acquired a brand new 911 in GT Silver. It is now three years old and I still love it.....!
DIY PCs
I made my own PCs with Furutec components from Cable Co. I bought heat shrink tubing and cable covering from Amazon. I was able to make custom lengths for my five cables. Good luck.

Build a wooden crate or use a cardboard box for Amplifier.
Contact Krell and ak if they will sell you a packing box for your units. A lot of manufacturers will do this. I know McIntosh does. You would pay for the boxes but they are designed for your particular units. FWIW
