Integrated amp: Component weight
Hi @cundare2 !  Have you considered the Mola Mola Kula?  I have the Makua with onboard Tambaqui and it is excellent.  While I  did sell my matching Kaluga amps in favor of Audionet Max amps, the newer class D in the Kula really do sound nice for a...
How would you spend my next $5K?
+1 on a second sub.   Its benefits are beyond pressuring the room, but that is an obvious benefit.  Two generally support the image and soundstage and disappear more easily.
Handling Heavy Amps
I too have heard (CAF) and touched these amps.  Amazing.  Westminster REI.  And I do not own them.

They are are quality brands and Chord and Mola Mola have US distributors and excellent reputations..  I have compared the Tambaqui and Dave, and I clearly chose the Tambaqui.  I trust my dealer to take care of me (GTT Audio).

Hello @cundare2 ! You have some nice options and seem headed on the right track with Ayre, the older on newer Naim 200 series and Coda.  I have heard two others that I like. The Audionet Watt weighs 55 pounds but is very very good.  It checks al...
Opinions on Silnote Cables
I think Silnote is a great value and a great cable.  I have two 2m Orion M1 Master Reference power Cables available...as new.
New Network Acoustics Tempus switch
Thank you for your soft words on your perspective @jji666.  I am the first to agree that I take things to the nth level, and for many or most this might not be their chosen path.  But I do hear the improvements, stand by this, and to me it is wort...
Subwoofer - is there one that would work in this situation?
Everyone is gonna say you need two.  Two are better.  But one is better than zero if you can adjust the roll off and volume to 'barely there'.  I had one single sub exactly where you describe in a Salamander three wide cabinet under the TV.  Even ...
Dog pissed on speaker
I have used the spray 'Nature's Miracle' on carpet before successfully... works for stains and odor, but can not say how much you could safely spray on a driver...
You tube hifi influencers. Love them or hate them?
EZ. Just dont turn on Youtube.  Listen to music.; it sounds better.  I do read specific reviews, but always with a shaker of salt.
Stuff You Tried To Love
I really wanted to like the Blue Lights.  Got a C2700 preamp new on trial and back it went.   Looked nice though.  I also had a much longer love hate relationship with my Auralic Aries G2.   Even modified the power supply.  It was just plain finic...
