What Meatloaf and Beer Have Taught me about Audiophiles @curiousjim A’gon is being buggy in a lot of ways including messaging. Leave me a comment on my blog, which won’t show up publicly because it’s moderated and I’ll get back to you. https://speakermakersjourney.blogspot.com/2025/04/speaker-d...
Speaker choice without need for deep bass @asvjerry Honestly in my modest home theater I doubt I use a total of more than 20 watts at any given point in time. Mabye the subwoofer gets there too, but I have a lot more voice coil wattage capacity than I'll use.

Broken View Notifications Sorry. I posted with a picture that didn't take. Two issues. One, the counter next to the bell symbol overcounts new messages. Second if I click View All Notifications I get an error page telling me to check the Heroku logs. Generally, this i...

Speaker set up for more than 1 person Most commercial speakers are not meant to be pointed directly at one's head, so they do sound better with little or no toe in for a wide variety of listening positions. Generally there are 2 schools of thought. One, to use more directional speake...
What Meatloaf and Beer Have Taught me about Audiophiles @hickamore Maybe I missed something here. Have we some reason to suspect that audiophiles’ tastes in food are markedly different from those of the "ask your smart speaker to play X" crowd? Yes, I think you missed the entire meaning of my post...
I bought 4 subwoofers and I'm absolutely not doing a DBA! Hah! @lewinskih01 I would not discount the vibration-cancelling effect of having back-to-back drivers properly wired. Please read above. This was thoroughly discussed with @audiokinesis before.
What Meatloaf and Beer Have Taught me about Audiophiles In the interest of full disclosure I've been partial to the Voodoo Ranger Juice Force line lately, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.
