Incredible detail in your initial post. I have trouble processing lots of information.  I would buy a puppy and not do anything else
Several used sonos faber il cremonese for sale. why?
@curiousjim   I’m not sure about the extremes they seem a bit too exotic and kind of rare since I didn’t make many and maybe for good reason. They seem much better value around 30,000 and overpriced at 55. The G5 are supposed to be pretty darn ...
So, I bought a Chord Hugo TT2...now what?
I mothballed Hugo TT 2 and got a Lumin x1 streamer dac.  I think the internal wiring was done really well and now I don't have to deal with a separate dac component and it is sounding a lot better. I thought about the m scaler and also the Dave b...
Several used sonos faber il cremonese for sale. why?
I looked at the Ktemas and they were very impressive, however you can't biamp them, huge disappointment May do just fine without that ability but I'm in a biamp phase.
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
I'm sure Jesse does. This is the greatest place to buy tubes in the entire whole wide world
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
Or a way to justify them installing mediocre tubes with their amplifiers. Somehow commentary in manual does them less good service because having the ability to modify sound using different tubes is an important feature and why someone buys a tube...
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
My thoughtful niece tells me that having Alzheimer’s can lead to a wonderful experience of being able to watch really great movies over and over again. Of course when she drops me off in the middle of nowhere or in a shopping mall I wonder why.
I want to buy new speakers for 50,000 and see it used for 30,000, what should I do?
@moto_man Speakers I’m looking at include the Sonos faber el cremonese, or amati g5, in 23 x 15 room, 8 foot ceiling. 80% home theater 20% 2 channel. It would be replacing a B&w 802 d3 powered by McIntosh mc901 monos. It’s a difficult deci...
Rel sub
Why is a single powered subwoofer getting involved with the mono amplifiers? I have a single powered sub and simply Connect the rca cable to the back of it.  My sub has volume and crossover settings on the back. It's a b&w asw 2000.  Newer s...
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
@mulveling  Interesting reply, thank you.  Along with incredible knowledge about tubes, you also must have incredible hearing sensitivity.  You conveyed you listen to your music very loud I hope you are appreciative of the likelihood the sensitiv...
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
@mulveling    Maybe I should’ve said do they impact the lower frequencies more? You own interesting speakers
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
Do power tubes affect the full freq spectrum or is it more focused on below 250 hz?
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
Curious, I read herein that the feedback level related to the amplifier is important to consider for purposes of evaluating whether it really makes much of a difference to tube roll power tubes. Anyone know why that would be? Further, I am biampi...
Quality of recording while evaluating speakers
@imjerrys  Interesting points. I'm impressed you can tell the difference between 32 and 24 bit. Maybe more so using headphones which I'm not really familiar with that much. I have a tube of amplifier and I am milking the benefits of using better...
Amplifier Power tubes - important to sound?
@mulveling  Yes I am looking for siemens 6550. It does look elusive.  And will have to revisit the source of recommendation whom is very good at what he does. I like to biamp so I'm using MC 901 monos from McIntosh.  I like them a lot and they bl...
