Best speaker brands for transient response
Does anyone really know what transient means?
Saved systems can't be found, where are they? Oh
Seems a bit odd it's so difficult to find. There's so many treasured systems it would be nice to quickly get back to those that are especially note worthy to me personally
Has a Power Conditioner Improved Your Sound?
I like the Transparent power isolator which apparently gets rid of all the magnetic interference without restraining power.  And it has what appears to be a very good hydraulic designed surge protector. It weighs like a lead block which to me ind...
Heavy difficult to move speakers- how do you deal?
Really terrific ideas. Speaks to a serious need for speaker manufactures to consider what people are having to go through and offer solutions in line with how they've created their speaker feet.

Would like to try a tube preamp after years of solid state and hybrid
If you have a limited budget I would pursue a used component to allow you to reach up to a higher level of component.  I had a solid-state amp which I upgraded to a tube amp.  If you want tube sound this is the area to get it .   I think you need ...
How cheap can you go and still be happy with the sound?
Oh my God, being out in the middle of nowhere with an old radio from RadioShack with the battery cover taped to the plastic back would make me happy.
The New Amati G5 or Joseph Audio Pearl Graphene
This is an interesting read through. I have the McIntosh 901 amplifiers and it provides an opportunity to adjust the upper and lower range drivers to adjust for all the things I've read above. Plus it balances the tubes with the solid state amplif...
Absorption behind components and speakers rationale?
That's curious about cylindrical traps. Is there much of a difference between cylindrical and the triangle panels that fit snuggling into the corner?
Graphene Sluggo - Unlocking Sonic Scenery
I would much prefer to buy all this fuse paraphernalia rather than step up to a higher level component. Clearly the cost benefit proposition is very favorable.
