If you have a nice system why do you really need room treatments? Unfriendly people lurking about. It’s about a really nice system in a room and you should be able to discern the qualities of a really nice system in room. And then you have all the furniture in the room and often times all the bookshelves and so...
People complain about lack of bass, not enough mid range. Solution? @knotscott always get horizontal and vertical biamping confused. I am more focussed on what's actually happening. Great response. You have a really interesting system wish I was your neighbour.
Audiophile junkie - awesome vid about NYC million dollar system today I remember when he visited that home somewhere in the middle of a desert and it was remarkable. Very strange that when he was there the guy seem to not be around, I think he’s just got very nice systems displayed in is home and would appear to be ...
WHY CABLES MATTER! Transparent cable company offers a network box as part of its cable. it Adjusts the frequency range ever so slightly where it emphasizes those frequencies that are negatively impacted the most when sound travels through the wires. It sort of pur...
Should Amps be plugged into a power conditioner? I plug mcIntosh mono amplifiers into a transparent power isolator. It doesn’t restrict anything and is designed to remove lots of magnetic Radio frequency noisy stuff along the way. It cost around $6000. Also well insulated power cables are kind o...
Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh Would you spend $250,000 for equipment in a room that just may not work out because of the way it's designed?? That room is gonna be an acoustical challenge it may never work out. Seems to me he should've bought much cheaper equipment and then ...

Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh Some thoughts about the sonic experience within a hotel room at a show. Each luxurious room offers a variety of components where each one has their own impact on sound and and then enter all the people coming into the room, mostly older gents whos...
Handling Heavy Amps Recommend using racks with casters so you can move them around. Why would anybody rest these things on the floor? There is no Sonic impact if you use casters.
Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh I love the radical spirit. Stick it to the man. I think the spirit of audio shows needs adjustment. The last audio show in Texas brought together hundreds of individualized components that were all assembled in individual rooms where elderly men ...
if you had this system, what would you do to make it sound the best you can Panamax power conditioner should go. I have one and don’t use it in my System, it tends to be restrictive. What is size of room which really impacts Quality of what you're hearing. I would for more powerful amplifiers, mcIntosh is fine
Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh Hardly, I just spend all my time watching audio related videos on YouTube. There are so many audio things on YouTube it's remarkable. All the time everyone spending for views that only yield pennies a month . I'm not sure how much marketing suppor...
Audio Racks, Just How beneficial? looking for guidance in upgrading I used a plastic milk crate for years and it was fine. And I put the speakers on the floor and the turntable on a dresser as long as I didn’t do jumping jacks everything was fine. I do have a nice wooden wide rack from salamander they don't make...
Audio Racks, Just How beneficial? looking for guidance in upgrading Nice to buy a solid wood rack and good to isolate turntable but all this hype about buying a incredibly expensive rack that's been incredibly well-designed with all these isolation qualities is just ridiculous. Explain to me the sonic benefit of ... |
