which cartridge is good for Well Tempered ref TT
I have used a Van Den Hul MC-10 for many years with my WT reference TT and arm and have been very pleased with it. kThat being said I think the WT will accept many cartridges with excellent results.
Connecting a subwoofer to a Joule LA-150
Agree with SNS. If you have only one source, such as a CD player then I suggest putting the BAM between it and the preamp and then using the second outputs of the preamp for the sub. However, I have two sources, CD and Analog so I can't do this. P...
Connecting a subwoofer to a Joule LA-150
If you put the BAM in the tape loop then both sets of outputs are filtered and you won't get anything out of using a subwoofer. SNS is correct in that Bobby recommends putting the Bam in the tape loop to buffer it but only if you are not running a...
Connecting a subwoofer to a Joule LA-150
I am using a sub with my Joule Lap-150. The second outputs are summed with a Y adapter and run with a single cable to the sub. However, make sure that the BAM is not in the tape loop of the preamp but between the preamp and the amp for this to wor...

How do you level your turntable?
I use a bubble level and a Sears digital level that cost about $25. I guess I am as anal as most of the audiophiles here.
System tuning tips from Hi Fi Plus
The demagnetization of a CD is for the label, not the CD itself. Sometimes the ink used for the printing contains ferrous particles.
How would you rate the Well Tempered Reference Arm
I have used the WT Reference system for over 15 years and have not found the arm to be overdamped. The damping can be adjusted from no damping to overdamping. The paddle that goes into the silicone fluid can be adjusted or removed.
Has anyone heard the Kuzma 4 Point arm?
I have just got my 4 point tonearm setup a few weeks ago on a Kuzma Reference TT. It is amazing. I previously used a Well Tempered Reference. The machining and adjustability are fabulous. Through the grapevine I have heard that it is better than t...

Another Crazy Audiophile
The Sears Model # is 320.48295 and it is 7 inches long. It also has two bubble levels in it and they compare very closely. Sometimes when I think the bubble is level the digital gauge will show it .1 or .2 degrees off. The nice thing is that with ...
Audioaero Prima CD Player vs Lexicon RT10
I have no experience with the Lexicon but I have been using the AA Prima (latest model) and it is excellent. It is so good that I had to have the Prestige and replaced it with that model. There is no digititis and this could possibly be due to the...
Vincent Audio
I have a hybrid CD player and a hybrid integrated amp made by Shengya, the Chinese company that makes the equipment for Vincent. They are excellent pieces and built very well. They also go under the name of Kavent.
Autos with stock awsome sound systems; Recomend?
I bought a Cadillac XLR last year and it came with a, believe it or not Bose system. I feel the same way the rest of the community feels about Bose but this is the best car audio I have heard.
