Food: what does the typical audiophile eat? cdc: When I was in college there was a fad of consuming a tablespoon of ground nutmeg which was said to cause auditory anomalies (this may be related to the curry thing). DeKay

Best way to offload currently inoperative Conrad Johnson MV60? Very confusing. This pic from an expired A'Gon ad shows but a single fuse accessible from the back panel (located just below the IEC power receptacle). DeKay
Best way to offload currently inoperative Conrad Johnson MV60? I just found the MV60 manual in PDF form. As I read it the plate fuses are accessible from the back of the unit. Anyway, if it functions properly with a new fuse the resale value is gobs more. DeKay
Do you past equipment appear in your dreams? I rarely recall dreams, but occasionally have one involving a Tiny Tim crystal radio I received as a gift when I was young. The dream is of something that really happened and the radio images are of it being "clipped" to a floor lamp with a metal...
Best way to offload currently inoperative Conrad Johnson MV60? Here’s a video showing the plate fuse being replaced. If that’s all that’s wrong with it just remove the bottom cover and replace the fuse. I could not find a copy of the owner’s manual and wonder if there is a secondary fuse in the IEC/power ou...

Western Electric 300a and 300b Not familiar with 422A, but it is described as being indirectly heated (as is the 5ar4). DeKay
Spam Emails after posting in the forums. My wife has this in her collection, but neither of us have yet to taste the real thing. I'm kind of fascinated by it, but have chickened out the few times it was offered (once in Hawaii). Seriously though - I do receive the specific Spam mention...
Western Electric 300a and 300b For value check sold items @ Hifishark. They are the same tube spec wise and differ in that one has a guide pin sticking out the side of the bass (my Svetlana 300B’s had such a guide pin). They would of course need to be tested. They should be ... |
